In order to assess different user behaviours in path choice according to different degrees of information provided to urban transit users by ATIS (Advanced Traveller Information Systems), this paper reports some recent developments of the modelling framework described in Nuzzolo et al. (2001a). They concern the specification and application of different models for no-information, shared-information (e.g., waiting times at stops) and personal-information (e.g. single O/D path alternatives and attributes via SMS) contexts, which can be considered as refinements in path choice and assignment for transit networks.

Abstract
In order to assess different user behaviours in path choice according to different degrees of information provided to urban transit users by ATIS (Advanced Traveller Information Systems), this paper reports some recent developments of the modelling framework described in Nuzzolo et al. (2001a). They concern the specification and application of different models for no-information, shared-information (e.g., waiting times at stops) and personal-information (e.g. single O/D path alternatives and attributes via SMS) contexts, which can be considered as refinements in path choice and assignment for transit networks.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
