Abstract
In the early 20th century the avant-garde movement conceived some radical new ideas for planning the city, based on the changes brought about by the industrial revolution and the technological innovations of the previous century. Today, at the beginning of the 21st century, with the digital revolution and the introduction of various new technologies and means of communication, it is time to elaborate a more up-to-date conception of life and the way it is lived in the city. The Eventualist Theory can be applied to urban structure and form, in order to elaborate the concepts and principles that will allow us to create a radical new kind of a city: the Eventualist City.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
