This paper shows the results of the whole Environmental Impact Statement (E.I.S.) experience realized in Italy between the years 1985-1991: the realization of an interregional High Speed Railway, has become the occasion to compare both the state of the environmental planning in Italy, and she level of contribution offered tu solve the problem by geographical and economic knowledge. The work considers the results of the applications of different methods and techniques of E.I.S. and their evolution taking account of European and national, dividing into analytical tables the environment between Naples and Milan. In order to point out similarities and differences, this article uses concise and descriptive tables descriptive of the regional realities, where the environmental components undergo different impact effects, so that different will be the solutions for the environmental equilibrium restoration.

Abstract
This paper shows the results of the whole Environmental Impact Statement (E.I.S.) experience realized in Italy between the years 1985-1991: the realization of an interregional High Speed Railway, has become the occasion to compare both the state of the environmental planning in Italy, and she level of contribution offered tu solve the problem by geographical and economic knowledge. The work considers the results of the applications of different methods and techniques of E.I.S. and their evolution taking account of European and national, dividing into analytical tables the environment between Naples and Milan. In order to point out similarities and differences, this article uses concise and descriptive tables descriptive of the regional realities, where the environmental components undergo different impact effects, so that different will be the solutions for the environmental equilibrium restoration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
