Abstract

A study was performed on high-accuracy instrumentation amplifier for low voltage power CMOS smart sensors. The proposed circuitry was constituted by two distinct stages and for each of these stages it was possible to achieve a strong gain enhancement, under the condition that the compensation resistances were properly sized and that the op amps were dynamically matched. The second stage of the instrumentation amplifier presented here may also be used as a differential amplifier.
