The accurate computer-aided design of non-linear microwave circuits requires advanced algorithms for circuit analysis, and sophisticated modelling procedures of the active device. In this paper the currently available modelling and analysis methods are briefly reviewed, and the available design techniques and procedures are described, stressing the unique features of a new generation of methods specifically addressed to the design of microwave circuits like power amplifiers, active frequency multipliers, and active mixers.

Abstract
The accurate computer-aided design of non-linear microwave circuits requires advanced algorithms for circuit analysis, and sophisticated modelling procedures of the active device. In this paper the currently available modelling and analysis methods are briefly reviewed, and the available design techniques and procedures are described, stressing the unique features of a new generation of methods specifically addressed to the design of microwave circuits like power amplifiers, active frequency multipliers, and active mixers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
