This work presents laboratory experience with a prototype of the ASSIST-FEE.v3 elbow assisting device in medical physiotherapy environments. The design peculiarities and operational performances are adjusted according to a properly developed protocol which is designed for experimentation and application of the device in motion assistance exercises in physiotherapy procedures. Test results are discussed with an illustrative example to demonstrate and characterize the feasibility and operational characteristics in a rehabilitation physiotherapy implementation.
