The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda stands as China's oldest surviving wooden pagoda, boasting a substantial base diameter of 30.27 m and a towering height of 67.31 m. Over its extensive lifespan, both its local components and the overall structure have exhibited varying degrees of deterioration. The intricacies of the heritage wooden pagoda, featuring distinctive mortise and tenon joints as well as Dougong connections, present challenges in determining their modal parameters such as complex modes, closely-spaced modes, and weak excitations. In this paper, the dynamic properties of this wooden pagoda are identified and cross-validated based on different frequency and time domain modal identification methods, mainly including Stochastic subspace identification (SSI) and Successive variational mode decomposition (SVMD) methods.
