The paper provides analytical expressions for the scattering function of the mobile radio channel modelled as a WSSUS channel, in the presence of 3-D diffuse multipath. In particular, the paper concentrates on the Doppler spectrum in both cases of mobile-to-radio base and of mobile-to-mobile radio link. When only one terminal is non stationary in an urban environment, and is equipped with a half-wave dipole antenna, the Doppler spectrum presents two peaks going to infinity at v = f fd (max Doppler shift), contrary to what is generally deemed for a 3-D multipath scenario and similarly to the classical 2-D behaviour.

Abstract
The paper provides analytical expressions for the scattering function of the mobile radio channel modelled as a WSSUS channel, in the presence of 3-D diffuse multipath. In particular, the paper concentrates on the Doppler spectrum in both cases of mobile-to-radio base and of mobile-to-mobile radio link. When only one terminal is non stationary in an urban environment, and is equipped with a half-wave dipole antenna, the Doppler spectrum presents two peaks going to infinity at v = f fd (max Doppler shift), contrary to what is generally deemed for a 3-D multipath scenario and similarly to the classical 2-D behaviour.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
