The volume presents the first results of the inter-departmental research project entitled Inclusive memory. Promotion and development of a collective and inclusive memory through innovative teaching methods of museum education, funded by the University Roma Tre. The idea for this project is rooted in the consideration that museums are increasingly regarded as educational places, not only in terms of the permanent and temporary exhibitions they offer, but also with reference to the idea of social and cultural integration. The project fosters the construction of a shared and collective social memory through an inclusive system within the museum.

Il volume si propone di presentare i primi risultati del progetto di ricerca interdipartimentale Inclusive Memory. Promozione e sviluppo di una memoria comune e inclusiva attraverso percorsi innovativi di didattica museale finanziato dall’Università degli studi Roma Tre. Il progetto pone le sue fondamenta sull’idea di museo quale luogo educativo, non solo nei termini canonici (museo come spazio educativo), ma soprattutto in riferimento al concetto di integrazione sociale e culturale. Esso mira a promuovere la costruzione di una memoria sociale comune e condivisa realizzata tramite un sistema di inclusione che passa attraverso il luogo museale.
