The substantial progress of the research on the ancient city of camarina (Sicily), with the wealth of archaeological data and inscriptions recently came to light, has allowed us to clarify several aspects concerning the existence and specificity of local cults, advancing some proposals on the location and appearance of them. On the other hand, if it is not always possible to establish a precise correspondence between figurative subjects selected in the votive contexts and "cult identity", the reading and the contextualization of some artifacts- yet known or unpublished - provide new informations useful to reconstruct the cult landscape and the devotional climate of the city in the Archaic and Classical periods
