The paper illustrates the principles of the Eventualist Theory, elaborated by the artist Sergio Lombardo in the frame of his avant-garde aesthetic research. Some of these principles were applied to the architecture in the research on “Stochastic Architectural Composition”, using computer automatic procedures in order to create new forms and volume aggregations. Several methods were invented and first experiments results are described and illustrated in the article.

Abstract
The paper illustrates the principles of the Eventualist Theory, elaborated by the artist Sergio Lombardo in the frame of his avant-garde aesthetic research. Some of these principles were applied to the architecture in the research on “Stochastic Architectural Composition”, using computer automatic procedures in order to create new forms and volume aggregations. Several methods were invented and first experiments results are described and illustrated in the article.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
