Linked data publication in the domain of the performing arts is still in a pilot phase. So far, only a small share of performing arts related data is available as linked open data. Naturally, the copyright holders has to decide whether they want to make their content available; e.g. under a free copyright license or in an Open Access regime and so on. At international level, there is no agreement to standardize the cataloging of the intangible cultural assets. My proposal is to create a traceability code for Performing Arts Cultural Heritage of the (ASPA code). ASPA Code will make available the theatrical performance items, with the relative metadata, via link from the Performance Knowledge base platform without having to transmigrate data from the original repositories.

Abstract
Linked data publication in the domain of the performing arts is still in a pilot phase. So far, only a small share of performing arts related data is available as linked open data. Naturally, the copyright holders has to decide whether they want to make their content available; e.g. under a free copyright license or in an Open Access regime and so on. At international level, there is no agreement to standardize the cataloging of the intangible cultural assets. My proposal is to create a traceability code for Performing Arts Cultural Heritage of the (ASPA code). ASPA Code will make available the theatrical performance items, with the relative metadata, via link from the Performance Knowledge base platform without having to transmigrate data from the original repositories.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
