Abstract

We present an original hybrid microfluidic platform combining deformability cytometry with impedance cytometry. The system is composed by a hyperbolic channel with integrated microelectrodes in a cross-shaped configuration. The high-throughput electro-optical analysis of flowing red blood cells (RBCs) is reported, Preliminary results encourage the use of this platform for label-free biomechanical and bioelectrical single-cell characterization.
