In order to asses non-standard capabilities, two X-band marine radars, a traditional SRT (with magnetron transmitter) and a modern Halo, with a solid-state transmitter, have been used to perform measurements in the suburban area surrounding Tor Vergata University, Rome. For different operating modes, this paper compares the results of the trials held in this area, including buildings, roads and vegetation with both radars placed in the same position.

Abstract
In order to asses non-standard capabilities, two X-band marine radars, a traditional SRT (with magnetron transmitter) and a modern Halo, with a solid-state transmitter, have been used to perform measurements in the suburban area surrounding Tor Vergata University, Rome. For different operating modes, this paper compares the results of the trials held in this area, including buildings, roads and vegetation with both radars placed in the same position.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
