The design, realization and test of a tri-band concurrent Doherty power amplifier (DPA) is presented. The prototype has been realized in hybrid technology using GaN HEMT devices. The operating bands have been selected around the following carrier frequencies f1 = 1.84GHz, f2 = 2.14GHz and f3 = 2.65GHz corresponding to LTE, UMTS and WiMax applications, respectively. The prototype has been tested and successfully linearized with a 10-MHz LTE signal at f1 and a 10-MHz two carriers WCDMA signals at f2 and f3, showing promising results.
