A new repair technique for fire damaged RC structures, based on the application of a jacket in high performance fibre reinforced concrete, is presented herein. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is here analysed by considering beam and column elements. Once checked the feasibility and reliability of the system, the performance of the new composed structure is evaluated and compared with the one of the bare element. Finally, the repaired elements are subjected again to fire in order to verify the fire resistance of the repaired structure. The obtained response clearly shows the effectiveness of the proposed technique.

Abstract
A new repair technique for fire damaged RC structures, based on the application of a jacket in high performance fibre reinforced concrete, is presented herein. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is here analysed by considering beam and column elements. Once checked the feasibility and reliability of the system, the performance of the new composed structure is evaluated and compared with the one of the bare element. Finally, the repaired elements are subjected again to fire in order to verify the fire resistance of the repaired structure. The obtained response clearly shows the effectiveness of the proposed technique.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
