Polarization-resolved coherent beam combination in water-glycerol suspensions of shaped dielectric particles. Experiments detect energy transfer arising from two different types of moving index grating: translational and orientational. The dependence of the gain coefficient on the beam-frequency difference, pump intensity and microparticle volume fraction is in accord with theory.
