The events of the dissemination of ideas of Diderot in Italy and their avatars are rich and varied. There are two very interesting events in the eighteenth century - one happened while Diderot was still alive. In the second half of the century, men fought in Italy for cultural emancipation and political liberty life of their country. Representationss of Diderot as freethinker could then be a model both moral and revolutionary.
