This paper presents a low complexity time-domain equalization approach for a novel multicode CDMA scheme. The novel multicode CDMA scheme is inherently characterized by lower ICI and the paper shows how the analysis of the ICI of this cyclic prefixed multicode CDMA suggests a novel way to equalize this scheme. The paper presents the novel low complexity equalization where the IFFT/FFT operations can be skipped and results show that the multicode scheme with the novel equalization performs almost like an OFDMA scheme.
