The synoptic reading of Margherita Isnardi Parente’s studies on the pseudoplatonic writings allows to highlight her lucid research strategy and methodological rigor, that are essential aspects of her intellectual biography. In these studies, the focus for the historical reconstruction serves as trait d’union between the philological approach and the theoretical analysis, both of which are vivified by the diachronic perspective. Among other theoretical results, the fundamental one is the specification of the different positions within the Academy, which allows the description of the transformation of Plato’s political idea through the formulation of a new theoretical nexus between nomos and basileia.

Abstract
The synoptic reading of Margherita Isnardi Parente’s studies on the pseudoplatonic writings allows to highlight her lucid research strategy and methodological rigor, that are essential aspects of her intellectual biography. In these studies, the focus for the historical reconstruction serves as trait d’union between the philological approach and the theoretical analysis, both of which are vivified by the diachronic perspective. Among other theoretical results, the fundamental one is the specification of the different positions within the Academy, which allows the description of the transformation of Plato’s political idea through the formulation of a new theoretical nexus between nomos and basileia.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
