Nostra esperienza sullo studio dell’osteosintesi nel trapianto pluritissutale nel ratto

In ten Lewis rats a femur osteotomy with subsequent osteosynthesis was made. In nine of them the sciatic nerve was transected and sutured with 10-0 nylon. Four limb replantations and two limb transplantations were also performed (Lewis, Brown-Norway). Due to the impossibility to immobilize the rat’s limb, in this sort of experimentation is mandatory to obtain an effective synthesis. Different tecniques of osteosynthesis were executed. Radiographic and histological examinations were performed.

Sono stati eseguiti 10 interventi di osteotomia femorale su ratti Lewis seguiti da successiva osteosintesi (in nove casi accompagnati da neurotomia e conseguente neuroraffia con nylon 10- 0); 4 reimpianti e 2 trapianti di arto inferiore (ricevente Lewis e donatore Brown-Norway). La necessità di ottenere una osteosintesi estremamente salda deriva dalla difficoltà di immobilizzare il ratto operato. A tale scopo si sono sperimentate varie metodiche. Esami radiografici ed istologici sono stati eseguiti a scadenze stabilite.
