Abstract
A perfect craniofacial symmetry is an ideal concept that can only rarely be found in both animal and human beings.Variations in facial structures are important to establish the real identity of any individual.Postero-anterior cephalogram is certainly the most important diagnostic examination to asses a craniofacial asymmetry. The aim of this work was to compare cephalometric analysis proposed by the literature.the study showed the importance of finding an affordable symmetry axis based on stable cranial structures.Only with this axix it is possible to measure the asymmetry through different analysis according to the indications of a careful clinical examination.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
