The Authors have studied the visiv evoked potential (V.E.P.) in a group of twenty subjects uffering from angle glaucoma. They have considered, in particular, the modifications of the responses, exitmating three pa- ameters: amplitude, morphology and latence. Moreover they have compared two different technics of stimulation: the common tv scrcen >attern reversal stimulation and another one, recently used, with the aid of light-emitting diodes LED's). With both stimulations, but expecially, with pattern reversal LED's diodes they shown a wave hat could be considered a sign of early lesion in glaucoma.
Gli Autori hanno studiato i potenziali visivi evocati (VEP) in un gruppo di venti soggetti affetti da glaucoma ad angolo aperto. Sono state prese in considerazione le modificazioni del tracciato e sono state messe a confronto tecniche di stimolazione diverse che hanno evidenziato un'onda che potrebbe rappresentare un'inizio di lesione precoce nel glaucoma.
