This article, published into the survey titled "Debates", take into accout the great historical and philosophical problem of the "death (supposed) of Communism", or his conception of a "political utopia" at the end of XXth century. The analisis begin from the review of the book by F. Furet, "The past of an illusion" ("Il passato di un'illusione"), translated and published in Italy, in 1995, six years after the fall of Berlin's wall. The thesis of the author concern the persistent life of communist ideal, in the utopian forms, which are still important in political philosophy of our time. Mainly in Germany, by the model of marxist utopian philosophy of Ernst Bloch, a proposal that is still living, after the end of ideological and institutional products of the history of "Real Socialisms" in Europe. Summary: 1. The "century challenge"; 2. A future politics, without Revolution and Resistance; 3. The new marxist utopism.
