Abstract

1789: the irruption of sovereignity of freedom and his right in history. At the age in which the ideological representation of the new revolutionary "Trinity" (Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité!) burns violent passions, the modest work of empirical sciences, medical materialism et the newly born biology, has just questioned, for too long, natural conditions of possibility for a concrete freedom, individual and collective. This ideal hide itself between the folds of seductive clothes of "Déesse Raison". Summary: 1. A "medical philosophy" of Revolution?; 2. The polycentric structure of the "Reve de D'alembert". Biological materialism, theory of judgment and emergency of the self; 3. Brain and rational political freedom, between Diderot and Bordeu. A New psychology and anthropolgy; 4. Revolutionary Self by Cabanis and theorical productivity of the "Reve de D'alembert"; 5. Bibliography.
