This contribution take into account the studies about Diderot's philosophy appeared in the last 30 years, in Europe, USA and Japan. The image of this important thinker, at the age of Enlightenment,is renewed by the philological enterprise of the Oeuvres Complètes, under the direction of H. Dieckmann, J. Proust and J. Varloot. In Italy too, Diderot's studies are advanced a lot, thanks to the traductions and analysis carried out by very many scholars and philosophers
