Viola Roggenkamp, a jewish german, a reporter and feminist, was interested for long time in the mother-daughter tie. “Tu mir eine Liebe. Meine Mamme” is a series of interviews to thirteen jewish german women and as many men on their mothers. This is an opportunity to ponder over the influences of the war, the persecutions of the Jews and the difficulties in the perception of themselves as Hebrews. Her work shows how two cultural and familiar heritages, tragically pass through during the time unmodified, from the mothers to the daughters and sons, essentially without being worked over.

Viola Roggenkamp, ebrea e tedesca, giornalista e femminista, si è occupata a lungo del legame madre figlia. “Tu mir eine Liebe. Meine Mamme” è una serie di interviste a tredici donne ebree tedesche e altrettanti uomini sulle loro madri. E’ l’occasione per ripensare a quanto il legame affettivo ed il modello educativo siano stati influenzati dalle esperienze della guerra e della persecuzione, rendendo ancora oggi difficile e ambigua la percezione di sé come ebrei e tedeschi: due eredità familiari e culturali passate intatte e tragicamente non elaborate dalle madri alle figlie e ai figli.
