SICUREZZA E RISCHIO TECNOLOGICO. LA FUNZIONE DI CYBERSECURITY

Security and technology risk is a critical challenge in the digital age, as cyber threats threaten to compromise the data, infrastructure and operations of institutions and businesses. The role of cybersecurity is to ensure the protection of information systems, sensitive information and, more generally, national security in the face of global threats, by mitigating these risks through prevention, monitoring and attack response strategies. The paper aims to offer a reflection that assesses the global dynamics and the growing relationship between public power and the private sector in the implementation of new technologies, even beyond national borders, based on the current Italian institutional set-up in the field of cybersecurity, with particular attention to the role of the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCA) and its interactions with the various bodies of the cyber ecosystem.
