Abstract
Transportation of various goods and deliveries creates a great demand for the use of urban freight vehicles. This involves the active use of the city's transport system and infrastructure. It is necessary to consider the interests of each stakeholder in the logistics supply chain during transport services. Transportation cost is an important aspect on the supplier’s side. This is also important to the consumer, as this indicator affects the final cost of the product. The use of horizontal collaboration technology leads to a synergistic effect: reducing the total number of vehicles needed to service several logistics systems. The work of a transport intermediary is researched in the horizontal collaboration of several logistics chains. Regularities of the technological parameters of the transport process influence the efficiency of horizontal collaboration of transport. The redistribution of vehicles between material flows, based on the approach of joint transport services, shows a reduction in total costs and a reduction in the impact of transport on the environment by reducing “external” costs. At the same time, the complexity of organizing the transport process through horizontal collaboration adds its own limitations to the transport service of several logistics systems.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
