Modelli inclusivi e strumenti di valutazione per la transizione energetica urbana: l’esperienza di Kinetic un percorso progettuale di riferimento per la realizzazione di Positive Energy Districts (PED)

Inclusive models and evaluation tools for urban energy transition: the experience of KINETIC, a reference project path for the realisation of Positive Energy Districts (PED). In the context of transition-oriented territorial policies, the urban dimension is considered strategic. The most recent EU initiative is the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) partnership that promotes the environmental, social and economic sustainability of cities. The KINETIC (Knowledge Integration for Neighbourhoods in Energy Transition led by Inclusive Communities) project, funded under the DUT, proposes an innovative approach to support urban energy transition through the development of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs). The contribution proposes a reading of the reference policy framework, discusses the nature of the PED object and presents the distinctive features of the approach adopted within the KINETIC project

Nel panorama delle politiche territoriali orientate alla transizione la dimensione urbana è considerata strategica. La più recente iniziativa dell’Unione è la Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) partnership che promuove la sostenibilità ambientale, sociale ed economica delle città. Il progetto KINETIC (Knowledge Integration for Neighborhoods in Energy Transition led by Inclusive Communities), finanziato nell’ambito della DUT, propone un approccio innovativo a supporto della transizione energetica urbana attraverso lo sviluppo dei distretti a energia positiva (PED – Positive Energy Districts). Il contributo propone una lettura del quadro di policy di riferimento, discute la natura dell’oggetto PED e presenta i tratti distintivi dell’approccio adottato nell’ambito del progetto KINETIC.
