We analyze scalar wave emission from unbound orbits in a topological star spacetime. Our study uses a self-force approach and leads to a post-Newtonian reconstruction of the field along the orbit, both in the time domain and in the frequency domain. We also compute leading-order radiation losses, namely energy and angular momentum.

Abstract
We analyze scalar wave emission from unbound orbits in a topological star spacetime. Our study uses a self-force approach and leads to a post-Newtonian reconstruction of the field along the orbit, both in the time domain and in the frequency domain. We also compute leading-order radiation losses, namely energy and angular momentum.File in questo prodotto:
