The paper presents the potential of multimodal analysis applied to digital storytelling in training contexts. The first part shows the transformative characteristics of individual and nonprofessional narrative production and then explores, in the second part, the presence of these elements also in the production of the specific format of digital storytelling. Finally, it is highlighted how multimodal analysis, traditionally used also in the context of militant critical pedagogy, is useful for identifying and bringing to light the elements that contribute to the production of digital cognitive artefacts.

Abstract
The paper presents the potential of multimodal analysis applied to digital storytelling in training contexts. The first part shows the transformative characteristics of individual and nonprofessional narrative production and then explores, in the second part, the presence of these elements also in the production of the specific format of digital storytelling. Finally, it is highlighted how multimodal analysis, traditionally used also in the context of militant critical pedagogy, is useful for identifying and bringing to light the elements that contribute to the production of digital cognitive artefacts.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
