The article offers a reflection on the training experience in volunteering, enriched by the results of a questionnaire addressed to active volunteers throughout the country. The analysis goes beyond the empirical aspect, delving into the conditions characterising voluntary action, such as the gift dimension, which makes training practices and civic engagement methods unique. This peculiarity of volunteering not only favours the development of technical and transversal skills, but also represents a powerful regeneration tool for the social fabric, promoting an inclusive and participative training model, capable of challenging the conventional logics of adult learning and active citizenship.
