In dramaturgical, theatrical and dance art, as well as in pictorial and set design art, Mexican women artists not only denounce the unfair social and cultural condition in which they live, but forcefully express the desire for reappropriation of their own lives and identities, the awareness of the quality of female talent, of intellectual and artistic skills, denied and obscured for too long. Despite the diversity of places, situations and cultural traditions, their stories resonate universally, mirroring the experiences of women in many other parts of the world.
