The paper proposes an articulated and up-to-date reading of Vico’s thought considering its multiple aspects trying to highlight above all the neglected motifs of his work making them act in the current horizon of reflection. Thus emerges the interpretation of a baroque thinker that is, at the same time, a refined theorist of the body, father of modern aesthetics and cultural studies, capable of so speaking in an unsuspected way to contemporary culture.
