Our project aims to compensate the demolition of the Velia hill by evoking the original sylvian character of the site. The new architectural volumes are: the enlargment of Villa Silvestri-Rivaldi; a new small entrance building to the Fora, next to the church of San Lorenzo in Miranda; a cubic volume that provides a new entrance for Metro "C", in which is situated a permanent virtual exhibition of the "Forma Urbis Severiana", the most famous marble map of the Imperial Age. This volume follows the size and the position of the underlying structures of Templum Pacis.
