After a brief description of a new class of $C^2$ splines generated by five dimensional polynomial spaces which, for limit values of the shape parameters, tend to $C^0$ quadratic splines, we discuss their application in the construction of curves approximating spatial data and subject to shape constraints.

Abstract
After a brief description of a new class of $C^2$ splines generated by five dimensional polynomial spaces which, for limit values of the shape parameters, tend to $C^0$ quadratic splines, we discuss their application in the construction of curves approximating spatial data and subject to shape constraints.File in questo prodotto:
