This paper aimed to address the need for a comprehensive review of the attributes affecting end-consumers decision behaviour to fill the gaps by deepening the knowledge on socio-economic analysis. On the other hand, the evolution of emerging information and communication technologies are strongly impacting on end-consumers’ decision behaviour and in particular the choice of receiving e-purchases. The goods reach the cities to satisfy end-consumers’ needs. It is relevant for any city logistics scenario assessment to have a clear understanding of the attributes that guide the shopping behaviour process.
