This article examines some inscriptions from the el-Hofra sanctuary in Cirta (nowaday Constantine, Algeria). In particular, the dedications of Greeks and Romans are analyzed. These inscriptions are considered in the context of two problems: the negotiation between Greek and Roman identities and the Punic identity and the slow but constant end of culture and therefore of the Punic language.
