This paper will examine the linguistic component and innovations of the Nineteenth-century play Ψευτοξενοδόχος (The Fake Innkeeper) by a certain K. Π., in relation to some linguistic satire precedents such as Iakovos Rizos Nerulòs, author of the Korakistiká and Dimitrios K. Vyzantios, author of the Babylonia. Furthermore, the identification of the author with the famous historian Konstantinos Paparrigopulos is proposed.
