In particular, under the direction of Franco Quadri starting from 1962 and with the involvement of a part of the critics of the time, Sipario accompanies and promotes, among other things, the reconfiguration of the practices and planning that characterize the theatrical scene of the Sixties, a process in to which the explosion of traditional conventions and hierarchies between linguistic codes, the affirmation of the vast field of the ‘performative’ and the influences of international experimentation were fondamental momen- ts. In his interrogating our scene and, increasingly systematically, also the international experimental scene, Sipario creates a network of references, of interpretative categories, of exempla, which contribute to building the field in which even the experiences of encounter between visual arts and theater will then be read and told (and promoted).
