In this chapter we describe the complementary medical treatment that aims to both prevent major cardiovascular events and improve patient's appraisal and satisfaction of life quality. Our aim was to provide key elements for cardiovascular prevention that must be followed by the multidisciplinary team that manages the treatment of peripheral artery disease.
