A new theory of management decisions able to benefit from the findings provided by the new behavioral strategy and neurostrategy fields is needed. In this regard, this chapter delineates the basic assumptions of an Affect-Cognitive Theory of Management Decisions able to explore how executives make business decisions by considering their affective and cognitive influences and the directions to follow for enriching it with behavioral strategy and neurostrategy inter-related findings.
