This paper describes the remains of a funerary monument of the second half of the second century AD found in 1997 in the western suburb of Leptis Magna. The latin iscription engraved on the monument reveals that it was dedicated to two brothers: Pompeius Nabor and Pompeius Ba[rea] by their father. The monument can be considered an interesting example of small scale funerary buildings which imitated the big mausolea of the internal area of Tripolitania and which can be referred to the middle class of citizens of Leptis community.
