Political change in Italy : 1996-2001

It analyzes the electoral and therefore political evolution of Italy in a crucial phase of the country's history in the twentieth century, with the end of the party system that emerged from the Second World War. The collapse of the Berlin Wall also meant the end of historical parties and created new movements. This can also be read through a careful analysis of the political geography of Italy in those five years but also with respect to its history of the last 40 years.
