New limits on cross section vs mass for spin-dependent and spin-independent coupled WIMPs have been reached by using 115.5 kg NaI(Tl) and about 6.5 kg LXe set-up deeply underground in the Gran Sasso National Laboratory of INFN. Improved limits have been also achieved by means of a CaF2(Eu) scintillator. Preliminary results on xenon quenching factor and pulse shape discrimination capability in the few keV region are briefly discussed.

Abstract
