The great challenge in constraining scenarios for solar energetic particles (SEP) acceleration is due to the fact that the signatures of acceleration itself are heavily modied by transport within interplanetary space. During transport, SEPs are subject to pitch angle scattering by the turbulent magnetic eld, adiabatic focusing, or reections magnetic structures. I hereby present a study on 4 solar events of 2012, focusing on the role of stochastic acceleration with respect to the shock one, on the comparison between particles produced at the Sun and the ones detected in space and nally giving a unique high-energy observation of scattering in the Earth's magnetosheath.
