The article is based on a research carried out in the Christian churches of eastern rite in Rome, which deals with the musical liturgies in use in the communities of immigrant citizens. The singing is entrusted above all to the celebrant and choir, while adapting to diaspora situations, must guarantee the best success of the rite. From the audiovisual documentation and interviews with choir directors, priests and simple faithfuls, the role of the aesthetic dimension in praying has emerged.
