Semantic function and usage of glyconic verse in the lyric of the greek drama. The paper is based on the analysis of four odes: Aesch. fr. 47a 802-820 Radt, Soph. Phil. 169-190, Eur. Andr. 501-536, Aristoph. Eq. 973-996. In these songs a combination of glyconics and pherecrateans is extensively represented, following a typical pattern of the anacreontic poems.
