Abstract In the context of various other experiments of design and planning on the basis of the Eventualist theory as applied to architecture, the projects elaborated for two different art galleries are illustrated. These projects involve the modification of the exhibition environments into new architectural spaces, transforming their static and dynamic perception into what the Eventualist theory defines as "events". The experience of the observer is encouraged to generate multiple processes of diverse interpretation, and non-convergent judgments are prompted as regards the intrinsic qualities of the perceived spaces. These projects are also intended to evaluate the effects of the insertion of an additional variable into the stochastic composition of architectural elements, which in this case consists of a series of mirrors. By the use of these reflecting planes a dimensional ambiguity is added to the formal ambiguity of the perceived space, thereby creating an additional level of complexity of interpretation.

Abstract
By the use of these reflecting planes a dimensional ambiguity is added to the formal ambiguity of the perceived space, thereby creating an additional level of complexity of interpretation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
